It is with pride i announce that Dickie Martin was awarded his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
tonight by our instructor Wilson Junior.
Dickie,who also received his Blue,Purple and Brown from Wilson at Carlson Gracie Revolution Team
joins the ranks of U.K. BJJ Black Belts.
A fierce competitor,he has been tearing up the tournament scene since 2001.
An inspiring teacher,tough training partner and our own encyclopedia of Jiu Jitsu,Dickie
has trained exceptionally hard for a very long time.
As a Blue Belt he decided to cross train in Judo to help his BJJ game and was awarded his Judo 1st Dan in 2005.
I am also proud to announce that another Old School Carlson Gracie Student was awarded a new belt tonight as well- NISAR - PURPLE BELT.
The Purple Belt is an extremely large hurdle in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Nisar has trained for many years to arrive at this stage-Well done my friend.

A fantastic day at the boiler room with over 30 students on the mat for Rodrigo Medeiros' seminar. With a mixture of great techniques from the seminar the students will have a lot to work on over the coming weeks.
It was also an especially memorable day for Mark,Alex, Ian,Gary and Jay who received their blue belts from Simon and Dick to mark the first major milestone on their journey in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Congratulations guys and remember, just keep training !

Firstly,Well done to the team for their awesome 2nd place at The Seni in the Team Event.Wilson,Dickie,Walid and myself are immensely proud of all of you.
We now start the training for the Kent Open in November,so get ready!
Rodrigo Medeiros (One of Carlson Gracie's famous competition team and in my opinion one of the most technical Gi BJJ instructors in the world today) will be doing a seminar at The Boiler Room on Saturday 10th May at 2pm.All Carlson Team members should be at this seminar.It is £25.
If any of you want to fight Amateur or Professional MMA you should contact me and i will find an appropriate event for you.
If you are considering MMA then please be sure to train at Attila's Thai Boxing class and Ryan Robinson's MMA class as well as the BJJ Classes at The Boiler Room

The new Judo Coach is Danny Murphy BJA 5th Dan (BJA High Performance Judo Coach).It is very rare to get the opportunity to learn Judo
from a coach as qualified as Danny (especially as he is also a holder of a Purple Belt in BJJ,so understands what techniques will transfer well from Judo to BJJ) so please take
advantage of this class.
THIS CLASS WILL,LIKE ALL BJJ,THAI BOXING,MMA AND JUDO CLASSES AT THE BOILER ROOM IN HAMMERSMITH BE INCLUDED IN YOUR MONTHLY
UNLIMITED TRAINING FEE OF £60 if you pay a monthly at Hammersmith,Tonbridge or Mataleao.

Simon Hayes awarded Blackbelt by Wilson Junior
Congratulations to Simon Hayes who was awarded his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the Carlson Gracie London academy tonight by Wilson Junior. The 7 years of hard training that Simon has enjoyed to reach this huge milestone are an example to all of the students at the club. Well done Simon!

Mihaly Sztraka awarded Blackbelt by Wilson Junior.
Congratulations to Mihaly Sztraka, founder and chief instructor of Carlson Gracie Hungary on being awarded his Blackbelt in BJJ by Wilson Junior in Budapest today. Mihaly is a constant inspiration to us all and we are so proud of his enormous achievement.

Rodrigo Medeiros and Julio 'Foca' Fernandez. The Carlson Gracie London Team will be representing Rodrigo and Foca's BJJ Revolution Team in the U.K.
BJJ Revolution Team are multiple winners of the team event at the U.S.A. BJJ national championships.
We are proud to represent this organisation alongside the Carlson Gracie Team and Carlson Gracie Junior.
NEW WEDNESDAY 6.30PM MMA CLASS FROM AUGUST 2007
INSTRUCTOR-Cage Rage veteran and Professional MMA fighter Ryan Robinson
will be welcoming members and non members to this class.
All MMA students are invited to carry on training at the No-Gi Submission class
that begins immediately after the MMA class at 7.45
The No Gi Class will be taught by a Carlson Gracie Instructor.
